The account governance feature in Kissflow offers valuable insights into all the boards within your account. It enhances data governance by providing a comprehensive view of your boards, enabling you to control and/or make informed decisions regarding their usage and optimization. With this feature, you can effectively manage and optimize your boards to ensure improved overall performance.

You can view a list of all the boards in your account in the All boards section. From the Idle boards section, you can identify the idle boards with no item activity in them for a selected time period. Based on this, you can act appropriately on the boards you no longer need.

Security and permissions

The Externally connected section lets you identify the boards exposing sensitive data outside your account through external connectors of the integrations in your account.

The sections, Unrestricted download permissions and Unrestricted print permissions provide valuable information regarding board attachments and forms that can be accessed and printed by anyone. By reviewing these sections, you can identify potential instances where sensitive data may be shared outside Kissflow. This enables you to take appropriate measures to protect the confidentiality and security of the data.

Selecting a board will navigate you to the detailed page of that board. Here you can view its creator, when it was created, when it was published, and who published it.

Admins

In the Admins section, you can view all board admins and their roles, aiding in security and preventing unauthorized access. Identifying privileged individuals or groups allows you to monitor and control unauthorized actions or data breaches, ensuring board integrity and confidentiality.

Activity

You can assess the productivity of a board by analyzing the activity within it. This includes the number of item creations in the board, and any note added to those items for a selected time period. It also gives you information on the number of items updated for that period.

This provides valuable insights into the board’s effectiveness and helps you identify areas for improvement to enhance productivity and streamline operations.

Integrations

In this section, you can check out the list of integrations connected to a specific board. It shows you the statuses of those integrations and the connectors they use. This way, you can make sure the board is only connected to the integrations they're supposed to, and avoid any data exposure risks.

Flows looked up from and looked up to

In the Flows looked up from section, you can view a list of flows that a board can look up data from. Data from those flows are exposed to the specific board.

Download, print and export logs

In this section, you can keep an eye on all the instances of attachment downloads, form prints, and exports of a board and its reports to see if any sensitive information is being exposed. It's crucial to spot any instances where sensitive data might be shared to people, or systems inside and outside Kissflow and take action to prevent it.

Audit log

Using the audit log, you can learn about the activities performed in a board. This log provides a comprehensive record of all actions with respect to time, allowing for detailed analysis and a deeper understanding of the board. This is helpful to track and examine various activities in the board for enhanced monitoring and security purposes.
