ClickSend connector

What is ClickSend?

ClickSend is a cloud-based service that lets you send and receive SMS, Email, Voice, and Fax worldwide.

About Kissflow's ClickSend integration

Kissflow's ClickSend connector lets you use ClickSend's bulk SMS service to send SMS to your contacts. To integrate with ClickSend, you must have a valid ClickSend account account as well as be a paid Kissflow customer.

You can use this service to send SMS messages when a specific task in your workflow is completed. Assume you're utilizing a Kissflow Case system to manage your service incidents. If a service incident in your case system is completed, you can send an SMS to the phone number indicated in the case. This is enabled with the ClickSend connector. There are no trigger events supported by ClickSend connector.

Configuring ClickSend connector

  1. Inside your Kissflow account, click your profile picture on the top right corner of the screen and click Integrations from the dropdown. Now, click the New integration button to provide a name and description for your integration.
  2. Set up trigger step, for example, you can use it to connect with a simple case management system like a service incident management tool.
  3. After setting up your trigger step above, click the Add button (

) next to set up your ClickSend action step. Search for ClickSend and select an available action event.

4. After choosing your action event, next step is to authenticate the connector. Click +Add an account and sign in to your ClickSend account. After signing in, go to Developers > API credentials and copy your unique Username and API key. Paste these copied credentials in your connector's authentication popup fields.

Note:

If you don't have a ClickSend account yet, create an account here.

5. After authenticating with your ClickSend account credentials, add the relevant values against the ClickSend form fields, hit Refresh fields to view all the updated fields in the selected ClickSend form. You can also map ClickSend fields with your trigger step or previous action's fields. For instance, you can map a phone number field in your case system here. The field values will be automatically added to the item fields after the action is executed.

6. After a successful configuration, test whether your ClickSend action step is set up correctly by clicking the Test button. The connector will pull field data from your selected ClickSend account and display it as a JSON output. Similar to the trigger step, errors are notified to you right away. Fix them before retesting the action step.

Setting up a ClickSend connector

After creating a custom workflow with your ClickSend connector's action step, switch ON the toggle button to activate the integration run. Once a trigger event occurs, the ClickSend connector will automatically send an SMS message to your contact(s).
